Bring your group to the wildest place in Twin Cities! The Minnesota Zoo offers reduced admission rates for a variety of groups. Bring your school-age childcare group, Girl or Boy Scout troops, community education programs, or pre-school groups out to the Zoo for a day of fun & excitement!

To receive group rates, advanced reservations are necessary and a group must consist of 20 or more people arriving at the same time. Your group will have Zoo admission for the full day.

Food Service
Lancer Food Service offers a variety of menu options in the Call of the Wild Restaurant. Special Food Bucks are available for meals and snacks. Food Bucks can be used to purchase items at all food locations.

What constitutes a group?

Groups are considered 20 or more participants.

When do I pay for admission?

Payment is due to the cashier upon entering the Zoo. One person must pay for the entire group via credit card, check, or cash in large bills.

How much is parking?

Car and van parking is $5, School Bus parking $10 & Motor Coach parking is $15. The parking fee is paid when admission is paid.

How far in advance should I make a group reservation?

Reservations should make it as soon as you decide on a date to come. One week’s notice is required.

May we bring our own lunches to the zoo?

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own lunches. However, we cannot reserve a dining space for you. If you are interested in ordering boxed lunches, please contact Lancer Retail & Catering at 952.953.0667.

How do I inform you of our exact group size? I may not know at the time I make a reservation.

At the time the group reservation is made, we ask you to estimate numbers. Payment is made the day of the visit so you know exactly how many are in your group and how many you have to pay for. Once your reservation is submitted - it is not necessary to call as your numbers changes. If your group size falls below 20 individuals, you may always "buy up" to meet that minimum number.

What is included in admission?

All exhibits, animal shows and demonstrations are included in Zoo admission. The group monorail admission is $3/person. The Great Clips IMAX Theatre offers group rates directly from their sales staff. Please contact the Great Clips IMAX Theatre staff directly at 952-997-9701 or 1.877.660.4629.
