Dolphin Encounters
Give yourself or someone you know a gift that will make a splash! Get a little closer to our Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphins in this interactive educational program at the Minnesota Zoo!

During your two and a half hour adventure you will learn about our dolphins, their personalities and what makes them special. You will be able to tour behind-the-scenes to see the kitchen where dolphin meals are prepared daily. Next, you will go pool side with one of our marine mammal trainers for a truly unique introduction to our dolphins. All participants are given the opportunity for a close encounter with one of our dolphins and will learn the fundamentals of dolphin training. You will receive a commemorative picture of your encounter as well as a packet of important marine conservation information for participating. Our dolphins can’t wait to meet you!
Time: 9 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
Date: offered on select Saturdays and Sundays.
Fee: $150 per participant (minimum 10 years old, participants younger than 16 must be accompanied by a paid adult).
Group Size: Maximum of five participants, smaller groups may be combined.
