Give a gift in honor or memory of a loved one

The Minnesota Zoo Foundation welcomes gifts in honor of a special person or event in your life. Your tribute or memorial gift is a meaningful way to acknowledge your loved one while supporting the Zoo’s mission to connect people, animals, and the natural world.

An engraved plaque on a bench at the Zoo is one way to honor or memorialize a special person in your life for a $2,500 donation. The donation may be from one person, or a combination of gifts from friends and family. Similar opportunities are available; please contact us for details.

Regardless of the amount you give, the Minnesota Zoo Foundation will send an acknowledgment letter to you for tax purposes and a notification letter to the recipient of your tribute (please be sure to provide us with the recipient’s name and address).
