Species
Description: The head is round with pointed ears and
a fox-like face. The long coat is rusty-chestnut and the underparts
are blackish. The tail has softly blended rings and is about
two-thirds of the animal's length. Head and body length is 51
to 63.5 cm (20 to 25 in) and tail length is 28 to 48.5 cm (11
to 19 in). Weight is 4 to 7 kg (10 to 15 lbs). Young are buff-colored
and weight 113 to 142 g ( 4 to 5 oz).
