Zebra Longwing
Heliconius charithonius

Habitat: Hammocks, thick woods, and forest edges.

Range: Southern Florida to southern Texas, into South America.

Facts: The Zebra Longwing is the only butterfly that is able to eat pollen allowing them to live longer than most other butterfly species.
