Habitat: Woods, forest edges, meadows, fields, streams, gardens.

Range: Eastern North America below southern Canada, rare westerly, absent from prairies except where wooded.

Facts: The Spicebush Swallowtail is also known as the Green-Clouded Swallowtail due to green-blue patches on its hindwings. This species also mimic the coloring of the Pipevine Swallowtail.
