Polygonia interrogationis

Habitat: Woodland glades, roads, sunny openings, orchards, streamsides.

Range: East of the Rockies from Saskatchewan to Texas and Mexico, east to Florida.

Facts: The Question Mark is known for the silver question mark-shaped marking on its hindwings. The normally highly alert Question Mark can actually become intoxicated if the fruit it is feeding on has fermented in the sun.
