Eastern Tiger Swallowtail
Papilio glaucus

Habitat: Broadleaf woodland glades, gardens, parks, orchards, roads, rivers.

Range: Central Alaska and Canada to the Atlantic, southeast of Rockies to the Gulf of Mexico.

Facts: Female Eastern Tiger Swallowtails may be black in order to mimic the toxic Pipevine Swallowtail. Tiger Swallowtails are attracted to lilacs.
