Habitat: Shorelines, roadsides, fields, meadows, swamp edges and other open places.

Range: Resides throughout the South, in the North west of the Rockies to Oregon, eastward to New England and Ontario.

Facts: The Buckeye has the most prominent eyespots on its wings of any North American butterfly.
